Hi! My name is Ranille and I would like to share a little bit about my story and about Rejoice Dance. I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Growing up I didn’t have the opportunity to be in a dance class until I was 13 years old.
I remember my first class where I was the oldest girl in the room, feeling awkward but regardless it didn’t take me long to fall in love with the atmosphere, the classical music, the structure, the discipline, the beauty, and the challenges of Ballet.
For me, growing up where I did, studying ballet was considered a luxury; so I truly consider myself fortunate, not only to have studied dance but to have done so at one of the best dance schools in Rio. In those early days dance really helped me find myself and grow my self-esteem, and it has ever since been a blessing in my life. I continued to dance and I ultimately graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Teaching Ballet and Contemporary Dance.
After I got married to my husband Jef I moved to Fort Worth where we grew our family. We are now a family of five, blessed with two smart little princesses and Bella our sweet dog. Living in Texas for more than a decade now, I have had the privilege of working at distinguished schools such as Texas Ballet Theater and the Art Ballet Academy which have allowed me to grow so much both as a dancer and a teacher.
I started dreaming about Rejoice Dance years ago. I wanted to have the chance to teach quality ballet at an attainable price for kids in our community so that they too could have the same opportunity I did growing up.
My goal for Rejoice Dance is to inspire, teach technique with excellence, and use dance as a tool to bring joy, health, and beauty to our community and the world.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read about me and my dream. Might I ask that you support this dream by sharing this page and praying for Rejoice Dance so that we could make a difference in someone’s life?
Thank you and God bless you!
